Ross Rhodes Scout Reservation

The Ross-Rhodes Scout Reservation is the outdoor program facility that serves the Scouting Program of the Ouachita Area Council. The 350-acre camp is located on DeGray Lake near Bismarck. We have developed our camp to better serve the 2,800 youth in our council. The activities include a swimming beach, canoes, campfire ring for activities and ceremonies, a kitchen for council and district events, frisbee golf course, BMX bike course and a Cub World Frontier Fortress to enhance our camp and Cub Scout and Boy Scout activities.

Jim Edens is the Camp Caretaker and lives on the property. Arrangements for the use of Ross-Rhodes Scout Reservation for Scouting Events can be made through the Council Service Center. Tour permits are required for camp use.
