Friends of Scouting
By participating in the Ouachita Area Council's Friends of Scouting
Campaign, you are making an important investment, not only for
your son's future, but for the future of our country. For more
than 80 years, the Ouachita Area Council has provided Scouting's
program of character, citizenship and fitness to young people
across Central Arkansas. Thanks to your support, Scouting's values
and principles will continue to play an important role in the
life of your community and family!
* Friends
of Scouting (FOS) is your chance to support a Scout throughout
the year.
* The Ouachita Area Council recieves no government funding: FOS
is the
primary source of income.
* The Ouachita Area Council expends $144 per Scout for council
programs
and camping. FOS is essential in keeping the cost of events low.
* Your donation directly supports our council!
* We are asking for 100% participation from families this year.
* Your donation is tax deductible.
